Mooroopna Anglican Church Kids is our teaching ministry to children during our 5pm service during term time. Primary age kids break out into their own session during sermon time. A creche is run concurrently for kids under school age. MACKs also meet occasionally for adventures together :)
Prayer @ the Canteen
Every Friday, from 12:00pm – 1pm, we gather at the Canteen for our Lunchtime Prayer Group. This midday spiritual gathering is a moment of solace amid the rush of the day, offering an opportunity to share prayers and support each other.
Fun Time Play Group
Every alternate Monday morning, at No.9 [the corner of Young and Camp Street] buzzes with the lively sounds of our Fun Time Play Group. This dynamic, secure space welcomes families with pre-school children for a time of playful learning and interaction. In addition to engaging activities for the little ones, we offer a platform for parents to build a supportive network. It's a place where families connect, share experiences, and grow together. Winter time 10am-11.30am
Bible Study
Usually held in blocks of 4-6 during school term time, 7.30pm @ the Canteen, our main aim is to explore the Scriptures through the basic journalistic questions of who, what where, when, how and why, with Simon filling in some background information. Contact Simon for more details.
Gardening Group
Usually the last Friday of the month, come down for a cuppa, a yarn, and a spot of gardening. We also hold occasional workshops, and in summer finish with a shared meal and a drink together. We hope you dig it as much as we do,
Ukulele Group
Come join Di and the crew as we scratch out a tune. No prior musical experience necessary, but a willingness to have a go and a laugh! We meet in blocks of 5-6 weeks for an hour or so, usually prepping for an event. 2022 saw us carolling at venues in Mooroopna!
Monster Garage Sale
Our annual monster garage sale grows bigger every year. A wide range of goods are available, along with a snag, a cuppa, and a good yarn. ALL proceeds are shared between local and national charities and benevolent groups, as well as a number of overseas missions.
